Insects communicate with other memebers of their species by means of chemical, visual, auditory and tactile signals.
- Chemical signals: Pheromones. Affect the behavior or physiological processes of an individuo.
- Sound production and reception: Sounds serve as warning devices, advertisement of territorail claims, or courtship sings.
- Tactile communication: There are many forms, such as taping, stroking, grasping, and antennae touching. It responses varying from recognition to recruitment and alarm.
HARMUL INSECTS
Harmful insects include those which eat and destroy plants and fruits, such as bugs, weevils.
Lice, blood suck flies, and many others attack humans or domestic animals.
